DW

This is the simplest of hosting packages. It gives you space on the Internet allowing everyone to look at your pages when they browse at your domain. If lots of people look at it there is a charge for the traffic outgoing from the site.

DWP

As “DW” but with the added functionality of cgi perl or PHP scripts.

DWPD

As “DWP” but with the added functionality of mysql databases and a domain post office with 10 e-mail addresses.

STO

Storage is the size of all the files that we host for your site. If you have a large number of files but very little traffic we will charge you for storage. 

DWE

If you require more than one scripting service or database there is an additional charge. Eg cgi and PHP.

SSL

The Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol encrypts data for transfer over the Internet Secure servers provide security and privacy on the World Wide Web.

DPO

A domain post office allows you to receive and send mail addressed to your domain. Eg no need to use mycompany232@hotmail.com or John35679@mail.yourisp.net.au you can have sales@yourdomainname.com.au or John@sales.yourdomain.net. Also each domain post office can have a catchall account that can forward all mail sent to your domain to any e-mail address you like.

DPA

An alias domain post office is a duplicate post office to your main post office where all e-mail address’s are forwarded to a like address in your main post office. If you need one you will know what it is.

DEA

There is no limit to the number of e-mail addresses you can have on each domain post office. These mailboxes can hold the mail until you collect it, automatically forward to another mail box on your domain or another e-mail address entirely, automatically reply to the sender and various other options. All niptech.net managed mail domains e-mail is scanned for viruses and quarantined if necessary.

MDPO

You can have any number of e-mail domains. To have an e-mail domain however you will need a domain hosted with NIP Technologies. There will be a charge for each e-mail address and all e-mail traffic.

IMAP

Internet mail access protocol can be applied to you post office to enable you to keep your mail on the mail server (rather than downloading to your mail client) there is a storage charge for this kept mail.

BD

Once a day your web site will be examined for any changed or added files, which will then be copied to an offsite location. Deleted files will be kept for one month. This does not include e-mail (except IMAP) as e-mail is only held on the web server while in transit.

BM

Once a month your entire web site will be copied to an offsite location. The previous months backup will be deleted. Again no e-mail can be included (except IMAP).

TD

We would like to host your existing web site, but unfortunately we can’t tell you if this is easy, difficult or even possible due to the large variance in web site design. Prices however start at the standard set up costs quoted above.

DRDC DRAU SR

We can register or renew your domain name/s and SSL certificates at one of the World’s most competitive prices.

LATE

We keep our prices as low as we can but we still need to charge and we can’t act as a bank so when we receive payment well outside our trading terms (which are usually net 7 days) there will be a late fee on your next invoice. Fee is $5.00 or 2% of outstanding amount whichever is the greater.
